‘my’ orange-tip… #3 the saga continues…
Not only a male orangetip visited my garden, but also ladies. When I inspected my photos, I found I had one where she curled her body as if she were laying an egg. After searching the net, I also found out that orange tips don’t just have the well known cuckoo flower as host plant but also garlic mustard. We have a lot of them in the garden!
I went back into the garden and searched the plants. To my surprise I found several eggs, only 1 mm in size, but also orange! I probably would never have looked in the field, but my own National Park gave me the peace and the chance to go beyond the ordinary photos …
Again worked with the #Tipa awarded Laowa by Venus Optics #loawa 100mmm f/2.8 2:1 macro lens. The magnification here is 2:1 on a APS-c 1,6x crop camera.
